Lost Platoon Maps

Lost Platoon Maps

This could be a mere map, but I'm planning on making this a tad more interesting. The idea is that you are the commander of a platoon that got lost in a heavy dust storm on Titan. Therefore, the units you get at your disposal are beaten up, they have less hull and are a bit slower than normal NSDF tanks, but ammo count and weapons stay the same.

The beaten up tanks will come to look like this:

Along with the maps will also be a guide that shows all of you how to make units similar to the above simply by using Photoshop, so others can make such units themselves and use them in their own maps and mods.

Tell me what you guys think,

Scheduled Missions:

1. Meet your platoon at Command Tower, then fight off CCA attacks until reinforcements arrive.

Approx. playing time: 15 minutes.

2. Travel through a canyon, fight off a CCA ambush and protect a Ctonian Relic then transport it to the extraction point.

Approx. playing time: 30 minutes.

3. CCA managed to capture the relic and is now building aircraft vehicles. Make use of the Flak guns and destroy the CCA base with your strike force.

Approx. playing time: 20-40 minutes, depends on player's experience.

These are the missions that will be currently implemented, however, they may change drastically over time.

Looking forward to it, Goomba.

IA maps seem to be a fairly acceptable compromise when you don't want to undertake a huge mod project. :D

Heh, I have the tendency to start on some very huge projects, then stall them and work on smaller stuff.
It's more satisfying to do a small project and see (almost) instant results, sometimes the actual point of a very big project gets lost.

But, don't worry, at one point the expansion pack and bigger map pack will be done too, just give me some (a lot of) time. ;)

I currently started on making a simple launcher for the pack.
The program will come to look like this, except for all the test purpose content, of course:

Nice. What did you use to make the launcher?

I'm assuming a mouse, and maybe a keyboard.

Referring to the software, of course.
