Pretty nice.
My suggestions:
A. Perhaps zoom in on the main area of the Galaxy where the story takes place. I though it was bigger but, space is big.
B. On this new map, perhaps detail more the different systems and such amtters.
C. Perhaps include the Sol in this, and whatever races are deemed neccesary.
P.S. Can you send me that. I want to mess aroudn with it for my own reasons.

Someday we will have a resolution that makes this look like 640x480. That pic will be small fry.

It covers up till FS2, though it does not show space ownership changes, only original purpose of said space.
I think the area in the central circle has a radius of 1000 light-years.
