Anime
Since there are no current OT threads, might as well recreate the anime thread.
As for me, I finished Angel Beats! a week back. It blew me away. It was rushed, the execution could have been better, and it was simply too short, but it was great. Even reviewers admit that; in most categories, it wasn't that good, but it still makes you love the characters in 13 episodes. Not to mention that it has saved lives.
I've also watched Darker than Black and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Definite recommendations.

I have preference to NOEIN and several other of the scifi genera. For some reason I also like Shugo Chara, though it gets a bit watered down with 100+ episodes across 3 series (well 2.2, #3rd one was a variety show).

Anime..Oh man. I've finished many series and I'm still watching a few. I really recommend watching Cowboy Bebop, Welcome to the NHK, Black Lagoon...Well I could go on for a while. Those are just a few. I'm also reading the Bleach manga currently. It's really good, I thought I wouldn't like Bleach.

I was partial to the way the story spiraled outward in scope.

Re: Anime
I'm gonna read that manga, after I finish the Bleach manga (or rather, all the manga there is currently)Lionsword7 wrote:Kind of like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
And I was wondering, do you know if the Bleach manga goes past the anime?
Re: Anime
Hmm, let me think; Out of all the times Japan has made everyone else wait a ridiculous amount of time for their crap (over 8000/9000 last I checked, the number is lost in translation ) they actually made an exception with probably the most awesome manga evah!?!
Yes, the manga goes beyond the anime, if you can find it in english, which you probably can. Hell, the manga of anything goes further than even the up to date Japanese Anime with quickie english subtitles as almost a general rule (last I checked).
