Its the same all over the world.
Nope, I know of a few Albanian dentists who still use unsanitized rusty Soviet dentistry equipment from World War 2.

Good job they're making money while they still can, as soon as the Steve Jobs Book of Ideas runs dry they're buggered.

A show that I have a mixed reaction to, but must admit I do like, that has moved to the History Channel is 'Ancient Aliens'. I'm fully aware that over 50% of it is silliness, but some of the ancient construction on this planet has me perplexed.

Sites such as Pumapunku, Kalasasaya and the Moai on Easter Island seem too advanced for ancient man. Many mainstream experts say, "The stones were carved almost certainly by. . ." but many times the theory is contentious at best.

The stones were carved by a few lifeless individuals who probably had way to much time on their hands.

There is usually a good reason for this, Archaeologists tend to have temple fetishes...and think that ancient man had nothing better to do than go around pointlessly worshiping things, of course the opposite is true and most of their constructions would have had perfectly rational uses, so an ancient agro/industrial plant becomes a mysterious temple... Only had a brief look at some pictures of Pumapunku, seemed some of it is obviously "industrial" probably a grain store/drier/mill or something. Building stuff like that requires "civilisation" and civilisation requires infrastructure.

I am reminded of Sliders Season 5, Episode 16.

Of all the "Ancient Alien" episodes, THIS segment may be the most bewildering and to the point. Many. . .or most of the other episodes are much more exercises in pseudoscience and wild speculation.

Let's assume it's not an alien technology, but the perseverance of master masons with insight in stonework equal or exceeding the best we have now. It could mean an individual is trained, beginning at very young age of maybe 6 to 8 and trained for possibly 4-8 years. He is then given an assignment, maybe partnered to a small group, to work his entire remaining life on a few pieces, possibly half a dozen pieces like the 'I' blocks, for example, dying at what we would consider a young age of 35-50.

To me, that is just as astonishing.

the "ancient aliens" who built those things are described in the Holy Bible and elsewhere. i.e., the Nephilim.
