There is a libertarian candidate, but he is never mentioned in the media. Nobody knows who he is. We can vote for him, but, no, it won't work.

It does not really matter if it works, what's important is that people do it anyway. Don't vote to win, its not a horse race.
I understood that they had it all fixed up so there are only ever two parties to vote for in the final round.
Once a third party starts to hit about 20% the other 2 are forced to consider why that's happening. Our 3rd party decided the whole style of our current government, because neither of the other two could form a majority. The long time losers, the liberals chose to form a coalition with the conservative (money) party because the Socialist spending party were in power and behaving just like conservatives anyway. The result is a schizophrenic government, the sanest one we have had for years :)
All bets are off for the next election, the only clear distinction between them all, is that the conservative party obviously still harbours a few holding extremists opinions. I won't be voting for any of them (3), they simply do not propose things that are intelligent enough to get my support.

Republicans are actually just android lizard men dressed up in the skins of people they killed on the street. A fancy suit hides even the worst of zippers. Sometimes the TV cameras pierce these their disguises. Politics... It's all pointless. The android lizard men already control all matter and energy on universal scales and they're making every other lifeform invisible to keep us all in line with their plan. They're working in your government right now.

What's really going on is that they're going to toy with us until they make us disappear from visibility as well. It's all an illusion, what you see now is not what is really there, it's all been engineered by the android lizard men to deceive and control you. Your nerve impulses are lagging due to temporal distortions in the time space contuum. The lizard men do this to keep you ingorant and blind. We must recalculate our thought vectors in and orientation towards a predicament more suitable.

See, what we need to do, is set every lizard man, in our governments, on fire and then construct a planet sized mirror blanket to cover our planet in, to keep the lizard men from returning. Mirrors deflect lasers, so they'll blow up their own ships if they try anything.

Labour will win this time, methinks. The Conservatives have committed political suicide and are doing their best to bring the Liberal Democrats down with them.

I have noticed that some of them don't appear to be able to afford new skin suits, and seem to be using the old ones from the 1950's or 60's

They're the most dangerous. *nod*

Anyhow, I always go with the Communist Party, and currently, we support Obama. So, my vote goes towards Obama.

WOLF PROPERTY LAWS

If I like it, it's mine.

If it's in my mouth, it's mine.

If I can take it from you, it's mine.

If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.

If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.

If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.

If it just looks like mine, it's mine.

If I saw it first, it's mine.

If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.

If it's broken, it's yours.

What's the point of a Communist Party, if they then go and support democrats? Even Ignoring all the traditional demonisation of communists that Americans are known for, why would anyone vote communist? their policies are just fantasies and idealistic nonsense. In practice they always turn into a loss of liberty, the breaking of those systems that did actually work and ultimately rule by an elite group that soon becomes indistinguishable from any criminal organisation or other elitist group.
If America voted Communist, in a few years it would turn into a society ruled by corporate wealth, with rigged elections, puppet media organisations and the suppression of other popular political movements...No change at all then!
Communism does not work. It is just an idealistic response to the oppression of a ruling class. In almost every single case where they have taken power they just end up pretty much replicating they systems they overthrew, just with different people at the top and different folks getting beaten up.

MrTwoSheds fails to realise that communism and democracy are not mutually exclusive, and the Egyptian Islamists fail to realise what Satanism is.

Not that the two are linked.

Well they are in a way (mutually exclusive) not completely I suppose, Nepal I believe have people who call themselves communists and take part in government without just banning any opposition. But that has historically been the modus operandi of most Communist Parties.
You won't last long as a real Communist if you don't stop people voting, its a system that just does not appeal to people once they actually find out how useless and prone to corruption it is. Nepal may be an exception as their poverty literally comes with the terrain. Capitalism won't work well in that situation.
North Korea, for example is not really communist at all, its a totalitarian dictatorship + "Religious" God-King inheritable leadership.
China has given up on traditional communism, cut out the idealistic democratic phase and gone straight over to a capitalist corporate system, where leaders get promoted to the position by the board of directors. Its very similar to a western democracy but without all the bullshit and pretending its actually up to us. :)
