Since real facts don't seem to matter much to many in the Republican Party, I thought I'd ask.

Even Fox News(?) has a hard time defending Romney. That is saying a lot.

Even the crazy ones running this year had some core belief in something. Romney only believes he is worthy (or entitled) to run the country.

Nothing else to see here accept maybe his tax returns.

That episode was one of those clear examples that Obama's "change" was a change for more hypocrisy.

On one hand you have Obama's machine, demanding the voluntary release of more tax returns from Romney. When Romney finally releases them, we find out he actually did not deduct all he could for charity AND gave a higher percentage to charity than Obama or Biden. Of course the liberal media will not bring that up much, if at all. And of course the fact that Romney makes his income primarily from capital gains and the tax rate is substantially lower, is just 'another minor detail' that the liberal media seems to overlook day after day.

On the other hand, we have congress demanding the release of F&F documents (by the way, for those who missed their class on basic U.S. government, that's NOT voluntary) from Eric Holder (basically Obama) but congress gets the middle finger, thus Holder is charged with contempt of congress. Now we find out from a deep investigation, Kenneth Melson, former acting ATF head and Deputy Assistant, AG Jason Weinstein and Assistant AG Lanny Breuer, the head of the criminal division. . . were all well aware of the crazy scheme, and thus resign.

Yes. . .Obama's mantra in his 2008 campaign that transparency in government was central to his "change". Well intentioned? Maybe. A hypocrite? Most definitely.

I have no idea if Romney would do a better job or not, but another "change" certainly can't be any more corrupt than this one.

Is yours? You can't even see past the crap to the real issues.
Romney has points on the economy, on foreign policy, on states rights, on energy, on the environment, etc. Do you know any of them? Probably not. I for one know the points of both Romney and Obama and I make my decisions based on both their promises, beliefs, and history.

You just seem to be spouting the "Romney is an evil rich guy" line. Do you even know what his policies are or just the vastly oversimplified, hell completely incorrect, "he believe only he is worthy to run the country"?

I hope to god you aren't a citizen of the US voting with that mentality. People need to actually think, use the facts, and make their decisions, not vote based on slanderous fictions. (ie, Romney is an evil rich guy, Obama is a Muslim, etc)

And lets not forget the news reported that he "lied" on his taxes to reduce his charitable deductions to make it look like he paid more. Despite the fact said deductions are not only optional, but in many cases a right pain in the ass to get accepted.

well, obama was right about transparency: we can see right through him. :geek:

5 bucks says israel and us 'preemptively' attack iran (or they turn a blind eye, ala pearl and maybe wtc) or create a false flag op, etc., before the election so he can play the patriot card and say, "we have to stick together and show a common face to the enemy, so....elect me!". that or he imposes martial law.

yeah, right; pull the other one.

The general view from Britain; your political system is a mess, Romney is an idiot, Obama is... we're not really hearing much of anything about Obama.

All you get over there is our media, which is so in love with Obama it is insane. That is probably also why you think Romney is an idiot.

You have seen what tabloids can do to celebrities, think what heavily slanted respected news can do to a politician. Romney has no sort of scandal in his past, so they have to make one up, or downright lie about what he has said or done, or take things out of context. Meanwhile, you don't hear anything about Obama because there frankly isn't much good to report, so they report nothing instead.

Boop.

Reminds me of the story one of my friends told me. He was a Serbian volunteer in the genocide and there was this one time where they attacked a village and his comrades, (he didn't kill any civilians), took all the native's children out and set them all on fire, in front of their parents, to show the regimes dominance. Think that was the time he got shot in the abdomen and got taken to Albania for medical attention. Luckily, he got out of there, because no long after, his group got taken out by a bombing run.

World's always sucked.

i'm sorry :-( i (and i'm sure a good number of other guys here) would probably be in prison now if i/we had been there.

i'm thinking that some pepper spray and a tazer might give you a good laugh at those times, too.
