nah, the virus form of FE was Vearie's one that gave you a f-ed up FE and uploaded a filelist of your desktop and mydocs to an ftp. I nuked that one though. was funny to watch it bomb on a dir recurse through a symbolic link loop and then fail to run ftp.exe due to sandbox and crap it's plaintext password about. Had fun nuking that ol' PoS malware. Also, some ppl that did fall for it have some f-ed up stuff on their desktops.


What I started as FE: Redux has sort of become a massive animal called "Rebuild of Battlezone" or 'BZRebuild' for short. The goal is the restoration of the landmark campaigns and the unification of assets and multiplayer. My current lack of updates is because of work with OvermindDL1 on a LUA dll. That work is going very well by the way and I hope to have the first (actually second seems a better choice) FE mission running on LUA soon. Anyone can help though the asset wrangeling is really hard to do with multiple people. Helping on bugfixes is better. It's just too bad I doubt RD would allow the projects from benefiting each other in ant way...

I found that hilarious. Send a video showing his 'tool' but if you looked closelly you could see it reside in folder called 'aidsmaster' (D'oh!) or something like that.

Anyway, wasnt even reffering to that. Twas just a random comment, where Ahab and me seem to agree on that pretty much anything could be called a DLC.
