agreed. i think it was more of a display piece for the AT.

okay, and the explosion...and the lighting...shaders... animation... textures...HUD... visibility range... fog... VO's... physics...

One thing that always bothers me in FPS sims like the BF series or COD is muzzle sweep craziness. In the BC3 vid the guy has his weapon pointed at the back of his fellow squad mates much of the vid. I really wish they would incorporate an occasional inadvertent discharge when you take a hit and also allow your mates to take friendly fire. That would really add to the immersion. But I suppose it would be too hard for many a dude sitting on his couch with a slice of pizza in one hand and his XBOX controller in the other.

yes, i cringe when i see those crosshairs right on the back of my squadmate, even in a game.

i just ordered this game, and i am pretty excited. i have battlefield 1 and 2 also, but i dont play them much

12 full minutes of the first mission.

I especially liked the touch of being under the heli while it's dumping lead with its twin gatling guns. A freakin shower of brass!

I gotta say, never played BF, but this looks almost too good to miss, the most life like game I've seen yet, almost like they faked an entire war just for our viewing pleasure.

I really liked BF-Bad Company. Really offered up the comradery. Here's a cut short scene I captured about third way through the game.

I've got to say, it does look damn good. Gears 3 takes my vote, its still 4 and a half weeks away from release and Im loosing sleep over it...

BF3 is definitely a game i'll be purchasing though!
