Consoles have the advantage of removing compatibility difficulties and letting the devs concentrate on the game code and design. But they are pegged to a more or less static tech ceiling.
The PC has the advantage of open-ended tech, but a bitch to adapt to tons of compatibility variables.
That's why innovative devs like Crytec shine on the PC.

Halo Wars is super bad-ass though, I love RTS.

legendary halo 3 ending changes the entire story (its cool), and yes, halo: reach ending is very sad

I did some moding on the PC halo 1.
I put evil AI units on MP maps.
oh ya the MP is broke as can be all maps are loaded off the server so you could change allmost any thing and it would still let peaple join and play on your game.
I got tired of halo and Moding it was not ealy worth doing in the first place.
