1.8 was the pop corn explosions mod Radigator made which Scooby hated and bashed a lot.
Also Cmptrwiz hated Bz1 and only allowed 1.8 on his site telling players it was a patch when it was not, this caused new players to be confused on purpose.
There was many installer versions from both the YG clan and Spock, each trying to rule the players in their own ways.
Noone wanted to fix what's broken and not change things that weren't broken.

Yeah but hopefully the testing im doing for ken will hopefully put things back to what things are supposed to be like again. Everyone will just stick to one thing maybe and its going to be a big maybe.

1.8 was all about having "awesome" weapons with lots of colors and pizazz.
Balance and gameplay was not a consideration.
