Maybe, maybe not, but the world would grind to a halt without us.

After reading that article I took a quick typology test. (To see if mine had changed. It had, a little.) Anyway, among the results was a list of favored professions and among those; research scientist, assassin and freelance writer.

Guess which one I didn't see coming?

scientist. ..and keep it down; you'll attract attention and then someone will want to speak to us.

Good read. I find myself almost uncontrollably and non-premeditatedly putting on a facade in public. Anyone here who was part of operation roommate knows that I was constantly being dragged into (or rather the situations dragged to me) "events" of which I would NEVER consciously attend or want any part of. That was extremely stressful.

Back when an abundance of social interaction was a bit more important, I gravitated to situations that increased my chances of getting laid (but who didn't given the opportunity 8-) ) Larger mixed crowds I avoided for the most part. Much of my time was with small geek engineering and canoeing communities. Was heavily into canoeing and camping for a decade or so.

Isn't there supposed to be a space between?

Or am I incorrectly assuming the Freudian simile ? :o
