Yea, but one of the core reasons this was added included people blowing up the commander's ship while he was in a bunker.

From what I know of the current FF system, with Friendly Fire forbidden:
You should be able to damage Same-Team, or Team 0.
You should be able to snipe Same Team, or Team 0.
You should NOT be able to Snipe or Damage Allied (Blue) on radar.
With Friendly Fire enabled, you can damage/snipe whatever you like.

Yep, but as mentioned before and completelly ignored, some find a need to set their 'preferences' in such way that even a simple feature as sniping works game-unbalancing. But ofcourse that is not true, is it?

I'm of the mind that if something is seen as potentially game-breaking and is actively being used, either everyone should be able to have it if they want it, or nobody should have it. Keeping techniques secret and exploitable by a few only breeds inequity and resentment.

You can not snipe allied players
You can snipe their ai units and pilots
You can sn ipe your ai units

It could be just me, but I've noticed player warping being worse in the most recent builds. In the past, the player may warp a little, about a meter, when strafing left and right. Now it isn't uncommon to see a player warp 10 meters.

I confirm i have some freezes of 0.5 // 1 second that appear sometimes on evenements like transfering units, and the lag movements i can see seems worst.
And it's when i host, and i can see my ping do 0>500>0>500 !

now that you mention it, i have noticed that hesitation, too, especially when selecting multiple units. wondering if paving is still happening.

The lag has been increasing but from what I have noticed is that all the players have spikes in ping, going from 60 to 200 for an example.

Its bug 310 ZA.
Read it, try it out, maybe practice a bit. Then think long and hard about wether you would really like everyone to use it.
Personally I would rather play bz2 the way it was intended to be played. But if you think the game will benefit from widespread knowledge of this exploit feel free to tell everyone how to do it and i'll get to work on bz2 strats tombstone...

I would point out that even those who are using it in games seem somewhat reluctant to tell others about it.

You might want to get a network monitoring program, such as TCPview. If you see regular packets coming in from different ip,s on kpn.net it will probably be our ddos attacker. It seems that he still has not got bored with the maggots that are eating his brain.
