Back in the distant past when I used to drive my mates around in my Mk2 Cortina-with-a-Big-Yellow-Whippy-Aerial, this Masterpiece was frequently in the cassette player, went all over the place as this played.
Thought I would put a link to it here so any of you youngsters who may have missed it can listen to a bit of history. Its been cut up into 13 videos...
Jeff Waynes War Of The Worlds
Perfect for building walkers too.

They had to use a foghorn in the modern remake, cos Phil Lynott, sadly did not make it to the 21st century.

Dare I say that Highlights is better than the full thing?

No, its a story. Red Spot found the full version, play in the background as you do something else. Some songs seem a bit dated now, but others are timeless.

I can only read books once, maybe twice a few years apart. Certainly can't read and drive at the same time.
Near the end:
Roughly sums up my feelings on animating this walker...OoooooooooLorrrrrrr!!!

There are bits you may want to skip, specially when you're already somewhat bothered by the dated quality of the audio. However as 2sheds already mentioned, its worth putting it on in the background, specially if you never fully heard it before.
