Re: Any old HEAT players? LoK or Black Watch?
HEAT is long gone. Do a search for Battlezone 1, and you'll find us. I think {BW}Ramm was playing, but I haven't seen him recently.

There's no toolbar when registering on the forum. I have no idea what you're talking about. It does sound like your browser might be compromised, though.

Re: De-coding BZ Source code, its possible?
I don't know what this "De-coding" thing is, but I'm assuming we're referring to "decompiling", attempting to reverse the process of compiling a programming language down to byte code or machine code with a decompiler . Converting binary machine code back to its original source c...

Re: A few problems and questions about 1.5
Heh. Battlezone would be a total joke if it wasn't for the full game installer. Almost nobody would be playing. I remember when we needed to upgrade from one 1.5 build to the next, and the installer was still being updated and uploaded. Within that short time span, we had numerous complaints about t...

Re: A few problems and questions about 1.5
GSH, by that logic BZ2 is also pirated material. Hypocrisy. It's not very nice of you to talk about Ken's work that way. Anyway, just Google search "Battlezone" and you'll find us, ssuser. Install that and the game will run properly. Patching manually is complicated and it's easy to do it ...

Re: Bzone1 on windows rt
Well, if you expect BZ to run on Windows RT, maybe we should also expect it to run on my Nintendo DS!

Re: ok instead of reading all the rift raft
That's funny, because the first installer Spock put together was "1.4M", which naturally came after BzClub's "1.4L" installer.

Re: BZ's Mag Arena
They're actually 2 brothers, I've heard them both in the battlezone1.com TeamSpeak. Still, they are a bit strange.

Re: Version 1.5.1.16 (2012-07-08)
My post was in reply to ZoD's comment and any other similar comments suggesting that we're using custom assets with a different CRC: Don't bother trying to download these files and playing on Spock's server anymore. These files install with a different CRC than what is displayed on Spock's site. Spo...

Re: Version 1.5.1.16 (2012-07-08)
Don't bother trying to download these files and playing on Spock's server anymore. These files install with a different CRC than what is displayed on Spock's site. Spock/Spork has the modified update files under password somewhere on his forum, so if you can't get the CRC modified files, you don't ...

Re: BZe/1.5
BZ 1.5 was hackable because there was an ongoing discussion on how to do it. BzE uses different encryption keys for it's assets, so no, hacking 1.5 doesn't mean BzE is hacked. Like you would know. There is no such discussion. In a hidden section, we told Ken how 1.4 was hacked and he fixed it all f...

Re: BZe/1.5
Second, BZE is, and was, for all practical purposes unhackable. Battlezone 1.5 got the exact same protection, and a hacker known as "TanadrineStudios" hacked it. BZ 1.5 being hacked is therefore equivalent to BzE being hacked. Therefore, indirectly, BzE has been hacked. Your argument is i...

Re: BZe/1.5
Couple things: show us a list of unique connections, those red ones might just be banned users which you pride yourselves on They're all the same IP. Three had 100 loss and one had a ping. I don't know why that is, but it's not important anyway because BzE is just full of idle clones all day....

Re: BZe/1.5
That's all BFT/Psychotic Rhino ever does is grump . BZ 1.5 is a patch that has Dx9 support, timer bugfix, east-west bugfix, improved AI, better antihacking measures, etc. As for BZ2 content, none of that has a place in BZ1, so nobody wants that. BzE does not contain the stock game, seeing as it's a ...

Re: Version 1.5.1.5 (2012-04-04)
The reason you haven't used it in BzE is because BzE is a micro-community even smaller than the Battlezone community, so there's not actually enough players to start a game. Allying in DM prevents your pop guns from killing your allies, and prevents proximity mines from detonating on them. Oh yeah, ...
