Have you guys found a way to run BZ in borderless windowed mode?

I'm using dual monitors and usually have other things running that I switch back and forth to. So I run most things in a borderless window so I still get the full screen but it doesn't keep changing my resolution or shifting other open programs around. I'm trying DXWnd but it doesn't seem to have an...

Re: Virtual Computers for testing a "sync error" issue

Well I haven't gotten anywhere with my own testing yet but I did convince a few guys to play a modded and a vanilla game and send me the logs from all the clients before moving on to something else. My dumb ass forgot to make sure mplogging was turned on though, so I don't have the chat logs. I'm no...

Re: Virtual Computers for testing a "sync error" issue

Cheapest way: you can run multiple instances of BZ2 on a computer simultaneously. Running in windowed mode makes this fairly easy to manage. -- GSH I was playing around with doing this but I still couldn't get it to crash. I was also worried that when BZ goes into alt-tab mode that it might behave ...

Re: Virtual Computers for testing a "sync error" issue

It looks like I've lost them. Is there a way to tell battlezone not to delete logs? At the moment it's only keeping the last five. From the pattern I was seeing I definitely think it has something to do with the two players that were behind the same router. For a few minutes before the crashes I saw...

Virtual Computers for testing a "sync error" issue

Hey guys, I'm running into a pretty consistent "sync error" crash that I'm trying to isolate, but it seems to only happen when two or more clients connect to my server from outside my router. (Possibly when both clients are also behind the same router on their end) Obviously once the game ...

Re: Custom vars for UI

Dang, that's kinda what i figured though.

BTW i decided to put my old toybox recy up on github. It shamelessly swipes assets from other mods so it'll never be released as a final thing, but it's hella fun to play with. Especially on a map with a bunch of pools and the custom thug recys

Re: Custom vars for UI

Afaik the colorize.tga is used to draw the blue border. I'm talking specifically about the white square (or blue square in your version.) I can change the width, but the height seems to be directly linked with the variable used. As in, when scrap.supply = 20 the bar is 20 pixels tall when scrap.supp...

Re: Custom vars for UI

Here's the difference I'm seeing RD's version vs the stock 2.0 version vs Normal http://i.imgur.com/1IiIv9i.png While the width changes, the height of the gauge is still 40 pixels I'm not sure i'm following GBD, as far as I'm aware the height doesn't matter at all. In all of the variations, the gaug...

Re: Custom vars for UI

Do you know if there's a way to run math operations on these variables? I see you can use Cmd() to set a literal value but don't see where I could multiply it.

Basically I just want the scrap gauge to go up two pixels instead of one for each scrap.supply

Custom vars for UI

Hey guys, Is there a way to define custom variables for the UI? For instance I wanna make a scrap.supply*2 var to use for the scrap gauge in bzgame_scrap_v2_0.cfg so that it'll keep it's aspect ratio. I'm worried it might not be possible since it wasn't done already in the patch13.pak but I figured ...
