Re: New test build (b98e) that might reduce lagouts

If I am to assume that the majority of the current BZ2 players think like you, I am glad they aren't beta testers. I ask that they prove me wrong and work with GSH on this rather than act in such a manner as I have seen.

Re: Bugs from 5.1 over 6.0 to 6.1: A big list

I bring this up because it is an option instead of a requirement in 6.1 as opposed to 6.0; Are you setting NAT On? Last I checked default is off. You set this when you host a server.

I think all the crap has been building him up to this point, and I don't blame him one bit, even if it was aimed at an innocent bystander.

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.1 Public Beta released

Wow, I now understand the mindset of all these ignorant people. Please, everyone this is directed to and everyone just witnessing this, bear with me. This is not an attack, just the most straight forward way I can put this: The 1.3 public beta builds have and always will be beta, incomplete, with bu...

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.1 Public Beta released

If someone can give me several reasons why 6.1 is a large improvement over 6, I'll be happy. Stop right there. Who the hell said it was meant to be a large improvement. There is a VERY good reason why it is 1.3 beta 6.1 and not 1.3 beta 7. This release (given Twosheds' information) was a last ditch...

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.1 Public Beta released

To emphasize, what we (Specifically GSH) needs is the log files and either a save or a list of actions to recreate the situations so he can look for any functions involved and focus his efforts (thank you for taking the right step DW). Given the vibe I get off a lot of these new people that actually...

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.1 Public Beta released

Differences should be put aside, and more experienced players should be allowed on the testing team. I'm afraid the complaining that this problem is due to lack of testers is very hypocritical as only testers who have no quarrels with the people on this forum (i.e people who, for the most part, do ...

I'd say that is a given. With Halo 3 ending in the Elite heading for their homeworld and the existing Covenant hierarchy left in shambles, I really doubt the Elite would step up to fill the gap let alone any of the other species.

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.1 Public Beta released

if it doesnt take too much time? Oh it does. Part of why I never requested the new access privileges to the private beta after BZU went down is because it takes time. Time that I usually don't have to dedicate which is why I decided to keep myself off the beta team. Given that there are only 4 peop...

Re: Anyone have the SDK for XSI version 1 to version 3?

Um, considering I'm staring at a backup of FishdotXSI I think its safe to say that we already have the specifications needed to construct plugins for any program, its just a matter of trial and error to correctly reference the in-program functions with the desired output (hence why OM has a "working...

Re: Download Softimage EXP 3 for Half Life 2 modelers.

Last I checked you can't even expect to buy the thing off Amazon or Ebay. If anyone were to find it, by any means, it would be a great find and even better if it is a legitimate method of acquisition.

Re: Is the Python Scriptor similar to the Maxscriptor utilit

From what I have seen, not even close. However, Blender parses python scripts to do what it does, so that may be a viable alternative if not a tad tedious to get used to (I tried it before, after taking the time to learn it it is a very nice tool, and its FREE)

Re: Minecraft

I don't know about you guys but its a great substitute for other sandbox games I have lying around... like Garry's Mod. If anything it is one of those things you do when you have time to burn but not enough for a real game, just so happens though that basically describes the free time that I do have...
