Re: So Coxxon, how have you spent 2015?
Honestly... I really don't like them. They're too bright, they're too round, and many of them are far too big of a departure from the base designs. It just doesn't feel like Battlezone to me. It feels cartoony and just clashes with the entire ascetic. I had much the same issue with BBB's HD models, ...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!
Side point before it comes up: BZ1 and BZ2 are far more different than HW1 and HW2. HW1's core difference was in UI, and it was full of tons of screens. HW2 is more the sub-window style that doesn't get you away from the gameplay. Admittedly some of the HW1 stuff might seem a bit odd in the HW2 UI, ...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!
WHAT?!?! you guys think that they wont use a modern engine?? why the hell wouldnt they? and if THAT is true, why do i get all kinds of hell from people for not switching to UE4?? Because you don't have any substantial complex code-base and there is a clear and concise upgrade path from UDK to UE4. ...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!
'remastering' the code wont work using a modern engine. the original code for BZ is way too old. at best they can use it as a model going forward. If they take any shortcuts, the game will be complete shiite. I hope the try to use UE4, then they can spend all of there time working for EPIC as quali...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!
the idea of moddability is intriguing. They would need to create an engine from scratch to include that in a BZ remake. What engine does Rebellion use for thier games? The base game is highly modable and they are using the base code as it is a remaster. A lot of the work for modability is already d...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!
It's a remaster, that means they take the old code and hit it with a bunch of full time salary developers and professional modern tools. Honestly I see this as probably a rather fast turn around in terms of modern development timetables. IMHO the only thing that's going to be a bump in the road for ...

Only you discussed one link, I discussed several. And the actual link in this topic doesn't fit the details of your discussion anyway.Red Devil wrote:talking about the only link being discussed.

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!
It seems like you are going for the simulator look, but in so doing you are doing a lot of crowding with purposeless UI elements. If you removed all the frames and buttons and toggles and the green screens and just had the UI projected directly onto the screen like your standard HUD it would probabl...

Re: Windows 10 Compatibility
If Microsoft is smart, they will make windows 10 cheap to compete with the rising free OSs that are actually useful (you can game on the damn things) and integrate a store much like how Google integrates the play store into Android. If they do that, I have no problem, I might even buy a card game ap...

Unless it doesn't invalidate my 7 key I'll probably buy it separate and dual boot via a 2nd SSD.

Re: BZ2 Pluto Base Discovered
FYI, for all those that didn't notice, all 3 of the shots have Pluto entirely in frame. Not a single one is missing any of Pluto. IE, it's far away as heck still.
