Dude, EMBM works totally different, It's not a live bump map, a true bump map would require a more code, also, they are ugly live, as they only posses height data which **** with the normals if not done in a render, tangent space normal require shaders and look way nicer, I'm sorry, but It just isn'...

@Red DEvil, me too, it was such a good idea.
And we REALLY should have some kind of fix if possible, to allow the fogbreak thing, maps could be so much nicer with it I think, instead of the sometimes ugly default fogbreak.

Man I have Max 2010 and I'm telling you for a fact that you just go to the Edit UVW's box and hit tools>render UVW template, I've done it too man times to count.

Red Spot is also correct, sorry I oversaw that, I'm used to just spawning the crap I make, and yeah, the .pak can have quite a few things not in the editor.

You can also set the fogrange and visibilityrange to negative values, one of slaors posts said that if you do say fogrange -250 800, that gives a good gloomy feel to the map as the fog is denser, the visibilityrange should always be above the fogrange or ugliness will occur.

Change the list please, I decided what the Aeneans and Helians' letters were as of when I created them, no offence meant, but the Aeneans are "R" and the helians are "3" but will be changed to J.

Hey GL138, do you by any chance have .PAK Explorer? You can use that to view the folders stored in the data or patch13.pak files, located in the root directory of bz2. In these files you can navigate until you find the folders with the vehicles/units, you will find .odf names their, though their cou...

Come to think of it, I get an error quite often, I set my graphics options to 32-bit in bz2, my windows is also this, but sometimes when I start it I see it has returned to 16-bit, any insight?

Nielk, your 3ds max is what 9? The ability to render an image from UV-space was implemented in 8..
Also, if the model is clean I can UV it properly for you, as well as make a .psd with a texture template, like a basic metal vehicle layout for the .psd assuming you have photoshop?
