Re: So Coxxon, how have you spent 2015?

on your reply Definitely take what I'm saying with a grain of salt, I'm not one to claim my opinions as gospel. The work you've done is above anything that I've yet attempted and if I'm being honest, you have me inspired. It'd be nice to see some of the fan factions redone in such immaculate detail...

Re: So Coxxon, how have you spent 2015?

Wow, all of the yes, the new version looks quite wonderful. The more muted colours are definitely good and the details that you cut from the texture certainly make the details that are still there pop much more. Make the ISDF structures look like that and I'm sold. The Scions are, on the other hand,...

Re: So Coxxon, how have you spent 2015?

Alright, as much as it pains me to say it coxxon I do not like your buildings. The vehicles are just beautiful, outright extravagant even, I can't name a single one of them that I dislike. Everything from the detail in the cockpits to the addition of those red light stripes, they're amazing. The bui...

Re: BZ2 SP Mission Fixes

Has anyone else gotten any errors on ISDF 12 "Counterattack"?

AH and I are both seeing a bzn load error that immediately closes the game. :|

Re: IS THIS THE THIRD GAME!?!?

Oh, you meant on the original. Those are the Hornet missiles, presumably, and they are fired from the oddly thin barrel above the AT-Stabber barrel. On my version I made the rocket hardpoint's barrel shorter and thicker but I'm keeping the missile belt, I like it.

Re: IS THIS THE THIRD GAME!?!?

the bobcat main gun needs works, it looked more like a TAG gun rather than a AT, the soviet light tank uses the same thing, also i think that the middle of the bobcat was open because it was the main entrance I included a pic with both versions of the main body, both closed front and open. The gun ...

Re: IS THIS THE THIRD GAME!?!?

Mike Arkin, the producer for BZ1, has been providing some cryptic tidbits of information about the remaster over on the battlezone1 forum. He hasn't said anything about BZ2 yet and even BZ1's expansion, The Red Odyssey, hasn't been confirmed, only a small statement that it's more likely to happen th...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

Y'know, Red Spot, with all this talk about how HW2 is so inferior to HW1, I think you'd make a great Battlezone 1 fan.

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

I'm not even purely stating my own opinion, you seem to though. Excellent observation skills! You continue to prove that you possess reading comprehension! I did in fact state my view as an opinion! I do also acknowledge that HW1 has been changed in some pretty big ways from the original, gameplay ...

Are you sure, AHadley? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrgPu-8C3Ok Are you sure? While the final BZ cockpits are nothing too special, this one was probably cut because of low readability and because it covered to much of the screen, nearly a third of it, yikes. Cockpits in games are cool, they reall...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

HW2 may be good remaster, HW absolutelly is not. Wroooooong, as a long-time Homeworld fan I'm absolutely loving both remastered games. You're entitled to your opinion that HW1 was "butchered" and an "unfaithful" remaster but maybe speak more subjectively if that's the case becau...

Re: BREAKING: Rebellion Bringing Back Atari Battlezone in VR

They seem to imply that they'll be ignoring BZ2 (specifically saying they're remastering 1998 Battlezone) and if that's true I hope they at least include strong mod support so we the community can port everything into the sparkly new engine. Either way, to finally hear that BZ is receiving the same ...

Re: Accelerator

Firstly, let me compliment your choice of literature, I've only read up to Caliban's War but it's safe to say I'm hooked! Best space epic that I've had the pleasure of reading, I'd say. Secondly, thanks for this handy little spreadsheet, I'm a bit surprised I didn't decide to whip something like thi...

Re: Bionite: Origins needs Support!

I have an idea for the building-placement system, if you're looking for one. The BZ2 grid-locked system has always irked me in it's rigidity but it does present advantages over BZ1 in that it can be used to minimize space used by structures, so I recommend a combination of the two: The first buildin...
