Re: 1.3.7.2 and new release on Steam/Gog

All BZ2 1.0 thru 1.3.x builds can play MP only with the exact same version.. This helps reduce resyncs (checking gamestate), bad assets, etc.

Enabled https security for this site

This site is now configured to auto-switch to using https:// (secure connections) on access. Ideally, everything should just work.

Re: crash with 1.3.7.2 on windows 10

That smells like an asset wasn't preloaded properly. BZ2 1.3.7.2-b132ak handled that better.

Re: This is a general post from someone who's got a lot of questions.

I simply cannot figure out how to open the Pak file in order to fine the files for BZ2 Remodeled
BZ2 Pak explorer is a good canopener for those .pak files.

Re: Sticky: Why a 'Battlezone 3' is unlikely

Update, 2017/09/17. This information is years late in the making, my point #2 above, "code/name licensing issues" for Battlezone has been resolved. The Battlezone name and rights were sold from Atari to Rebellion in 2013. See articles such as http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/23/auctione...
