i did save the map using the latest build, so perhaps my brightness settings are lower or something like that.

yes, scion biometal is synthesized slightly differently from human synthesized biometal, so it makes things appear different.

here's a link to a fix i made. Please let me know if there are any problems or if it works okay. - moved constructor/scav path point away from wall to center of road. - put scav under player's control. Just unzip it into the root of your BZ2 install so that the files are in the existing addon folder...

that's in the .cfg files inside data.pak and patch13.pak located in the root of your bz2 install.

install that patch and then run BZ2, select Multi, then Chat and maybe someone in the chat room might want to play a game.
the irc chat is not a pre-game/in-game lobby, so people there might not even be at their desk.

i added the webshield stuff locally a few months ago, so that will go away.
