Game about a game for most of it. The shear variety causes a lot of variation in quality. From horrible to great it is all in there. .hack//CELL was very good, but stuff like .hack//Legend of the Twilight was pretty darn bad. .hack//LINK looks like a train wreck but .hack//Quantum looks pretty good. Problem #1 is finding what counts as canon and problem #2 is finding that canon != good.
The really good stuff questions reality, intelligence, and consciousness. I liked CELL because it got into value of life, artificial and biological and presented a situation of killing one to save the other, granted, it didn't quite end that way.
That said I never finished the games and I am by no means some sort of avid fan, I just like the gems that ask questions that I am sure are coming in our future with the rate of technological development.
The shear size of the content and multiple media is what gives me the probabilistic surprise that most ppl I converse with have never heard of it, and if they have, don't like it for a brief encounter with only one of the bad parts. The way everything builds on the last bit doesn't help when some of the last bits are the problem.

That a barking dog is really effective a blasting away Zeno's conjuring philosophies on a suitable reason for Zeno to kill herself.
Oh well, it'll come around again.

- That only Morgan Freemans voice is enough to cast me to sleep with my rising anxiety to play Gears of War 3. Seriously, its a joke how little patience I have for the release now. One weeeeeeeeeeeek.

That I probably won't be able to find a decent review of Space Marine, since it's too awesome to be adequately described.

Women are particularly good at that, especially if it's a social conversation.Iron_Maiden wrote:That trying to have four different conversations at once is hard.
