Never really listened to them, to be honest. And depending on how long ago you last listened to FLA, listen to their really old/really new stuff. They've changed a lot over the years. New stuff is more harsh and angry, old stuff is more electronic and angry, middle stuff is more flowingly musical. Epitaph and Implode being the more musical albums.

Mostly heard them in the mid 90s but they weren't really my thing.

If you haven't heard Death From Above 1979 you should. The common comment I hear from people when first introduced to them is "Why haven't I heard this before?!?!"

NoMeansNo are a staple in the Canadian punk scene.
_Wrong_ being probably their most successful album.

Heh - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXJfzpLnjEI

The mid '90s is when they went through a metal-ish phase (Millenium is probably their heaviest album, that was 1994). They hit their peak probably around five years later - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRnviOWr9SM.

RIP Whitney Housten is all I can really say, other then the fact that soon my cousin is performing in the school band and making large progress.

I will make a link when he posts his first cover or song on youtube.

It's a very fair point; greater fame =/= more talent.
