National Anthems

I've been preparing sound engineering for our remembrance service over the past week. In doing so I realised that our national anthem is one of the worst pieces of music I've ever heard.

I may not know much else about British military/governemntal music, but this remains my favorit. (because it has been stuck in my head for days.)

i'll be cheering if/when Scotland becomes independent of England.

Scotland isn't a part of England. Its a part of Britain/The United Kingdom it is a Nation that is a member of a Union of Nations. They have been able to choose to leave for a long time, its just that they have never even attempted to make that choice before. It will be very interesting to see if they will actually make that choice and of course if they do, will they fully Join Europe?...
I'm guessing they won't do anything much until after the next general election, where we find out how much the Scots really want to do it and even then they will still have to win a referendum. Still haven't heard much about how they actually intend to go about dividing up all our shared assets and citizens. Or what form their Nation will take, monarchy? republic? Islamic state?
That's probably just our infamous "independent" press not telling us things "THEY" don't want us to know though. Rather than the SNP being a bunch of nationalist-socialists without a clue.
Hmm their website is not very informative on such subjects...I guess we get to keep our nukes though.

After a bit of digging around I discovered a few things, they Intend to continue using our currency £ (not join the Euro then) They intend to continue being a monarchy (with our existing monarchs) and remain European citizens.
In fact I think the only real difference is that they get to play with the tax money...and most of that is debt
I like the SNP I don't even think you have to be Scottish to join!

They want the backbone of a full country, get the income and share in the welt, yet rather not carry the label of a certain country.
You know, the lets profit over the backs of other people attitude...

Kinda like it is in Belgium, where neither side really likes being part of a country that has ½ the people from an other background. Yet the Frenchies side doesnt want the Dutchies side to remove themselves as the Dutchies make the money and the Frenchies spend it on their unemployed.

Like Greece demonstating vs budgetcuts, but none has any objection to others paying for their lazy nature ...
