I will endorse this film if, and only if, the Titanic is sunk by Godzilla, who goes on to devour all the screaming passengers.

Well you can't expect them to just go in and bust the dealers of the most harmful and addictive drug there is or target the actual production of it. Important people's wealth is dependent on being able to run a cartel selling products that kill people, clearly utterly trivial and ineffective legislation is the only answer.

I remember those. They were chalky and awful, and impossible to keep lit.

Not to mention when you DID get them lit they tasted awful. You might as well just have taken them out of their wrappers and ate them like candy.

Funny thing is modern cruise ships are bigger than the Titanic by a lot. Worse that happens to those is pirates or an engine fire (that makes the news cover like, the top 5 most bitching people while most everyone else on the ship just says "it sucked" and uses their free ticket for a 2nd cruise).

The EU bigwigs are probably pooping nickels about now. If Italy exits, Greece, Spain, and Portugal won't be far behind.

May sound strange, but I would've refused as well.
policy says no, ignore policy and being the kind individual may cost you quite a bit.
the road to hell is paved with good intentions...

So it is against company policy to try and save a persons life when they are in trouble. I wouldn't be able to live with myself afterwards if I knew that someone died because I sat back and did nothing since I didn't want to take responsibility for my actions. If it was just some receptionist than I could mind of understand that they would be in shock but for that person to be a trained nurse and still refuse to give CPR to someone is just atrocious.
When a company policy gets in the way of saving someone's life, than I think I would be working for the wrong company.
