Oh great, now all we got to wait for is the AI guys to come up with something that actually works, give one of them a silly voice and some flashing lights, then and we can all retire and let the drones willingly do all our work for us. ;)

I can't wait for the day when I can hop onto Google Earth and watch some snuff pornography while I sip from my cup of fine orange juice.

Future, embrace me.

Here's a new Head-to-Head comparing the Bugatti Veyron vs the Lamborghini Aventador vs the Lexus LFA vs the McLaren MP4-12C.

You might be wondering why I am posting this testosterone-laden car comparison in this thread.

Well . . . as quadcopters become increasingly popular and easy to fly, they are finding many uses in commercial use. In the video, you'll notice from around time 3:12 to 3:23, it's a quadcopter doing the video recording. ;)

NPR Story on the emerging tech.

"Right now, there are thousands of small companies in this field. And hobbyists like Harrison in California, whose day job is at Pixar, see the drone era as the next frontier, as a marketplace that could power the next economic boom."

Quick render of a tricopter frame I came up with, but will never make unless I get my own CNC cutter.

Well. . .things have changed a lot in the last four months.

Legislation to ban FPV is intensifying because of it's 'evil' cousin, the "Deadly Drone". Like gun control, I'm thankful my state is not overreacting.

Ill reprogramme my nano drone squadrons to de-construct at a cellular level, anyone who wears a dodgy 1950's style suit and a side parting, if you think it will help?
Emerging technologies always offer new ways for people to abuse each other, it is the intent to abuse that we require protection from, not whole branches of technology.

Hmm. Retrophobia?
