I finally figured out how to make animated GIF's with Truespace 3D and GIMP 2. Instructions on how to make some yourself.
The web link has instructions on how to get it done. In my sample GIF I used a premade stock animated model that comes with TS and rendered that to an FLC animation file format. I tried the same thing with the AVI format in TS but GIMP does not support the format at all. I've never even heard anything about the FLC format and discovered it purely by accident when playing around with both TS and GIMP. The whole process doesn't take much time and can be useful for members wanting to make some cool 3D GIF's for their own Avatars. BNG. :P

PS: Is the FLC format a compressed animation format? Is it used for other applications? Thanks. Have fun with it!
