Original arcade games were designed to eat quarters early and often. An arcade machine that lets people play for a while without punishing them is not a profitable arcade machine. And so, those games were punishing.

And after many years of peace...The Urquan Hierarchy stand poised to annihilate the Alliance of free stars, Is there not 1 hero to stand against them? The pitiful computer opponent stands no hope against the over whelming might of Lord 2sheds, Earth is doomed!

I have Dragon Warrior on the NES. Apparently that later got renamed to Dragon Quest.
Originally called Dragon Quest in Japan. Changed to Dragon Warrior for US releases of the games, recently changed back.

I'm playing Dragon Warrior Monsters A LOT. That and the N64 Zelda games.

You cannot possibly call Black Ops old. It's been around for a year. We're talking about games from before this century. Hell, most of the games in this thread are probably older than you are.

I wouldn't say Modern Warfare counts as a game. More so a cash tick.

I'm currently playing Total Annihilation. I'm playing it with the same four CDs I've had since 1997. They're in great condition still.

Just got out of a three hour game of Total Annihilation.

Ancient Conquest
Hellbender. Stopped hellbender when I realized table fog is not supported on modern video cards (anything on the horizon would infinitely tear since there was no obscuring). Also, joystick fail.

Trying to make the first D3D game work, difficult.

The greatest game ever made! Official. Do not question! Just Kneel before it! (with a friend)
Back in the depths of time...I first played this with a mate on a table top in Panshanger football club, I was not old enough to be drinking the beer they gladly sold us, much Later I got it for the Sega megadrive, I still have it. So many battles were fought.. It is one of two games I consider to be "Sacred" the other is BZ2.
Only just found this version for modern pc's, No idea what going on with all the extra settings...

Apparently It can be played online...If anyone is foolish enough to challenge Me, ip addresses would be needed.
My brothers and I loved this game. Pretty sure we got a pirated copy from my cousin. (No need to tell GSH)
