Try to stay on topic it's, "how to make a model" not on "how to make Nielk1 feel any worst." I think we should all just give it rest Mort....Mortarion wrote:lacking moderator skills though, buddy
Unless he's a robot Clavin, I would think that he get's frustrated just like the rest of us. When did you become an expert on whether or not it bugs him or not?Clavin12 wrote:You honestly think you make N1 feel bad?
In case you've not been following the thread, he really doesn't care.Mortarion wrote:lacking moderator skills though, buddy
To say I was acting as if I was an "expert" is absurd and you know it. He just doesn't seem like the kind of person who would be greatly moved by the kind of person you seem like.Col Klink wrote:Unless he's a robot Clavin, I would think that he get's frustrated just like the rest of us. Here is a lesson I call perspective: a guy asks how do I make a model, and you drop "creating skin animations" on him, something people that DO know how to make models sometimes don't grasp. Are we all so far removedMrTwosheds wrote:Use 3ds Max, It has an xsi exporter and a script now exists that allows people to create skin animations that work in bz2.
U da man Mort....I use both Truespace and Anim8or to make my models. I have to jump through a few hoops with Truespace, but with Anim8or I can export directly to BZII with the exporter created by Raxx. If he ever has time to work on it some more I'll should be able to make most of the non animated BZII models. For most animated models Truespace should do most basic animations. I think almost any modeling software can make a basic BZII model with the right modeling accessories. Getting a usable XSI version 1 model like those produced by the original XSI software is another story though. As I understand it even MAX users have to jump through some hoops to get SI_envelope type animations working via notepad. As far as Nielk1...I'm becoming comfortably numb myself. Clavin...I'm am what I am for better or worse....Mortarion wrote:Comment removed due to offensive and off topic reply. -squirrel
