Mod Variants

i have no ownership of any mods (except for G66 source, which i am bound by promise not to release).

if anyone wants to develop or work on any mod that i have been working on over the years, please feel free to do so. whatever happens, at least you will have the experience and satisfaction of working on it.

all i ask is that you:

1. start with and use the original form of the mod which i have not worked on. i.e., if working on FE, start with Rev. D, if Uler, the original Uler, etc.

2. label it/name it as your version (different from each others') so that people can tell at a glance which version is which, which will help prevent the accidental overwriting of main files.

3. use separate and uniquely-named folders different from what i have been using so that we all don't step on each others' files.

4. learn and have fun.

that way, people will have more choice and can decide on and play what they like. kinda like rec variants, but with mods. i.e., Mod Variants
