Your constructor is not a building.

Yes, but it would be cool to upgrade a unit.
Like it would be morphing for the ISDF!

ya but they are not realy new they are just the stock ones resaved under a new name. you would just need to open the data.pak and tell it to extract all the ODFs in 3 folders then re-name them and change the build time. you would then need a new rec ODF that up gardes to your new set of units.

They are not the same ODF, therefore they are a new one. That means extra space will be needed. Use inheritance to minimise the need for this.

Speaking of inheritance, does anybody have a recent modlog copy? Would be useful in demonstrating how to use it.

I think that would need to deploy in to building or some thing first.

I would however advice against making recy's inherit any stats and just add new ODFs, there's something not working completelly in their regard. If you make both vehicle and building inherit stats it 'could' cause issues.

I played the Mod ages back where you could upgrade towers.

Also you could upgrade com bunkers to provide the pilotes inside extra armour.
