What's New:

I'm getting craptonnes of movie_init errors on 7-64bit; just started doing this, the 1.5.0.12 version played my anims fine...

edit; oops, stupid me:

if any part of the shell displays anims it will throw up a "... movie_init" error, and hitting ok simply throws another one up....

for example, opening up bz, it has a like 5-6 errors, then I can click wherever. the sp shell seems to throw up an infinite amount, as I held the spacebar for over a minute, and it was still throwing htem up...

Try Xp sp3 compatibility and make sure you can run the avi's outside of Bz.

Are you sure the indeo registry entries was installed?

yes, I can play them out of the game, and it does the same thing in xp sp3 compatibility, EVEN with the indeo registry entries...

do note that this is the first version that I have noticed where the movies are a problem, as every other one I've tried/tested worked just fine...

I tested on win7 64bit and the errors show up if the anims folder is missing or renamed, otherwise it's working for me.

Copy the movies folder from the cd to the Bz folder and it will play.
