Your Favorite Scion Unit
YOU ARE THE COMMANDER
every commander has a favorite unit, and every bz2 player is a commander. so what is YOUR (the commander) FAVORITE SCION UNIT?

Scav. Without them you get nothing else.

Maulers... Ah. Most fun thing to play with on standard BZ2. Hilarious in DM with double Pulse Stab too.

Sentry. The definitive Scion unit.
Re: Your Favorite Scion Unit
Again, which game stage? Though generally Warrior.

Mauler for me. It's practically a melee unit which makes it unique in a way. Reminds me of the movie Aliens. Just wish it could pounce!

They can fly in the 1.2 patch, of course I doubt that was intended...AHadley wrote:Or fly.onlooker wrote:Mauler for me. It's practically a melee unit which makes it unique in a way. Reminds me of the movie Aliens. Just wish it could pounce!

I absolutely hated that! The suckers are bad enough to control in 1.3, 1.2 was a nightmare for maulers.Blue_Leader wrote:They can fly in the 1.2 patch, of course I doubt that was intended...AHadley wrote:Or fly.onlooker wrote:Mauler for me. Also, sentries and lancers can pretty much be written off..

As more of a strategist than a dogfighter I prefer archers.

Not if his enemy is Scavengers!Zax wrote:Therefore you will loseClavin12 wrote:As more of a strategist than a dogfighter I prefer archers.
Re: Your Favorite Scion Unit
The Lancer seems well suited to both offensive and defensive roles.
Re: Your Favorite Scion Unit
The most effective way to defeat archers when completely screwed (Shadowers anyone?) is to hop out. Archers are so weak that I don't know why scavs don't just trample them or suck them up with their vacuum hose.Blue_Leader wrote:Not if his enemy is Scavengers!Zax wrote:Therefore you will loseClavin12 wrote:As more of a strategist than a dogfighter I prefer archers.
Edit:
The lancer is well suited to being DEAD!
