Lancers.

Lancers were a big multiplayer unit i used in past public beta's.
But something changed with them so i quit using them. after an update.
Today during an mpi i made one with a wasp and put two heal droids on him and it almost took him an hour to kill the defeated computers base.
Every time the heal droids went to heal him it would be like he was trying to avoid the heal.
I notice the lancers act more like scouts.

Stock BZ2 I assume? VSR Lancers use different AI. I haven't been quite happy with stock Lancer AI, but it's hard to say whether our AI tweaks are for the better or worse.

I'd actually be quite happy if the default Lancer AI is improved but I forget exactly the problems I had with it.

Interesting, why was it changed in the public betas?

I think the public beta with the indestructable bombers was the last time they worked right. But the patch after that was some major upgrades for the game.
