BZ2 Never changes (yup too much ego)

To whoever was Rush_Limbaugh on Feb 22, 2015 hosting a game for 10. First of all, I am NOT luci, nor have I ever been luci.

Second of all, this game is dead because people think that they know everything about every player and so have the right to kick and then lock game. You want to have people to play with? I am sure you do, but only the ones that YOU know. That way you won't have to actually PLAY the game. You already know everything about everyone and how they play so you feel that you can win. That is just laziness and just another reason that this game is dead. I loved this game, played since 1999, yet when I join a game of 10 people, I am kicked because you think I am someone else and don't even ASK who I am. Does it really matter who I am? I am someone who likes to play bz2 and am happy when there is an actual game besides a boring MPI. Yet you kick me.

What about everyone else in that game? You just let people do that. Do you want others to play with? Do you want to enjoy the game as you have for the past 15 years?

This has to stop. It is understandable when the players are 16 years old, but not when players are in their 30's or older. Stop playing like a kid and start acting like an adult. It may just be fun for a change.

Sorry for this rant, but this is crazy. I don't get a chance to play much (I am married now) and there is only a handful of people playing this game any more and yet people still kick others out of the game. I thought as we all got older things would change. . . .oh well.

I have yet to see a competitive multiplayer game that does not have this. It's part and parcel of gaming.

Also, from what I hear luci causes problems - the kind of problems to which kicking and locking is a reasonable response.

EDIT:
happened to join at the same time luci was rejoining 5 seconds apart with new VPN's
Basically, you just joined at a bad time. Don't take it personally.

"Non playing" troll apologist strikes again. Anyone else you don't know you want to slag off just because you heard stuff about them in the "Trollzone?"

So you're trying to say that if somebody acts like an ass it is perfectly ok to do so yourself.

Michael,
Rush Limbaugh is one of several nicknames used by somebody who thinks griefing is the way to go, than post videos about it on youtube, than deny it ever happened. Ignore them even if you play with them, or get used to feces being trown at you.

Can somebody explain to me how locking a game that is being constantly harassed after kicking the person responsible constitutes griefing? Sure, he's got a bad track record, but we've got nothing to say this is anything more than a case of mistaken identity.

Coughs, and who started that? Can anyone spot the same old theme playing over and over again?

If you are you seriously trying to imply that griefing in Battlezone II started with Vearie then you are seriously misguided. It's been a constant factor since day one just as it has with Battlezone.

Twosheds, please acknowledge that Rush/Vearie (who dareth speak of that name around here) is not really as bad as you think, he seems to have mellowed out and matured over the past couple of years and will hopefully continue this process. Sure he has an erratic personality and a weird sense of humour now and then, but I can assure you a bad bloke he is not.
