i feel like a wiki page for bz2 should be made. how many of you agree?

I'm pretty sure there is one at BZcomplex.

I shudder to think what would actually get put on it...

There is also a wikia, which is completely unused. And a wikia. So not really worth the webspace.

Wikis are not a magic bullet to get documentation. So many people have a "if you build it, they will come" for Wikis -- expecting content for free. Wrong. You need people to enter content -- and most of those people are busy. You need people to organize and search content, because the search functions on every wiki I've used stinks. And you need people to keep things up to date, etc.

You need people ready and willing to create content before you create the space. Because if you try and do the reverse, you'll have a useless corner on the internet. BZ2 is a small community. Most with the talent would rather write specific tutorials or respond to questions on forums rather than a generic wiki.

BZComplex is far from finished, but it is the best wiki we have and is getting better with (almost) every edit. It's one of the best-run wikis I've ever used, and I'm not just saying that because I help.

Probably also partly because we understand that there are nearly 0 sources for Battlezone information and most of it is self-sourced.

It is a rare person indeed who takes any pleasure in writing documentation. Whatever documentation we do have is filled out by experts who managed to something throw something together in a creative spurt.

I voted no because we already have a wiki... A wiki that is used in fact...

And yet, here you are.

The current Wiki exist already. It just need people to add information to it, so another Viki is really unnecessary Index. Get with Neilk1 if you want to add information to the current Wiki.

Just log in and add stuff. If you screw up someone will probably fix it.
