Hi I am thinking of running mods on the newly released "Battlezone: Combat Commander" from GOG. Should I even try?

Mods will need updating for compatibility with BZCC. Maps will need to be repainted, mission scripts rewritten, and new files added to allow the mod to appear in the new mod menu.

Has further patch development been discontinued? I cant see the links on https://matesfamily.org/bz2/. Wasnt this the primary location for downloading patches? I am trying to download older patches for various mods.

I figured out the location; on bzscrap.com. However has the patch development discontinued?

Bye the way is there a master list of mods & their bz2 supported patch version? I am trying to build an AiO VM for the same.

Thanks I tried using that but patches just mess many mods & then I have to downgrade to a different patch. I was actually hoping to have table for the same Mod -> Patch. How about starting one?

Thanks Vassili. This needs to be updated. It doesnt have EPIC Mod 2 in it.

Looks like mods were built for certain BZII snapshots. They work differently (if they even do) under the further BZII patches, except BZII Classic. Generally, if not supported by developers, mods get unplayable: unbalanced, buggy, crashing. No mod except BZII Classic work under 1.3.7.
