Hey guys, I got a curious situation as I played the mission "Rebuilding the Ark". The mission itself has some bugs, but I had a moment what I had never before: I wanted to clean up the area near the matriach with my warrior and then I was "teleported" into a xares with crazy weapons (Charger-cannon and Blackhole-Mine). The warrior was still on the place but I am in a new vehicle.

Does someone had the same situation? I don't know how to reproduce this moment. I can upload a Screenshot of the xares if you want.

PS: @Killerstrike: I read your private message but I cannot answer, because I am new in this community and I have currently no premission to send messanges. I hope you can help me to make "Into the Fire" playable without my tricks ^^

i have had that happen to me a few times in the 'Arrival' mission, which is unusual - but useful! :-)

that craft is player.odf, which is the default ship for you when the map is created, so the script/dll is probably getting confused during play and slaps you in your original ship (before it was replaced by the script/dll).

I played "Cloak of Deception" again to find some bugs. I agree that Stewart is very annoying in 1.3. Maybe it could be fixed, when a sniped scout switches to an other team like in "Too Hot". So Stewart can focus to the mobile xypos.

The next problem is that these scouts sometimes attacks you, when you are "too fast" for the mission. After you snipe one xypos no allied soldier spawns from the air and capture the empty scouts.

The zeus-units use an other route to the recycler. I am not sure if you can change the path of these units. They destory one "jammer" and attack later the base. However, xares uses the old path like in 1.2...

Blue: Original path/path of xares

Red square in the middle is the attacked "jammer"

More about Rebuilding the Ark: When the Hadean builder arrives through the portal, it does nothing (no matter I visit the extra weapons point or not) and I cannot choose the reinforcements. Here is the game video (~20 MB): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/409 ... 09-962.avi
It is still possible to win but it becomes difficult.

okay, i'll take a look at Rebuilding the Ark after CoD. Working on a distraction atm, which shouldn't take long.

The problem of the reinforcement is that the creator don't create a portal like in 1.2. With the new portal you can order some scion units. I had to move alone with the repair drone to the matriach, because the xares and guardian had to protect the creator against talons and demon's drones.

By the way: When you defeat the scion base I got fps-drops to 30 fps and lower, but I am not sure why. My old graphic card was an ATI Radean HD 4870 and my new one is R9 280 and I have the same problem. Until I have to escort the haulers I got more worse with the framelimiter.

However, in 1.2 the fps never gone down and there aren't so many objects, which pushs my framelimiter. Maybe there some mistakes by scripts?

the original Scriptor works well for 1.2, but not so much with 1.3. i'm working with a new Scriptor that is compatible with 1.3 now that still has some kinks in it, but i'll check out RTA when finished with current distractions.

Looks like SP campaign remains very popular. FE is the best BZ2 mod, it is a true BZ masterpiece. So, when?..

Is anybody working on some new mod that has an SP campaign? The QF2 (as I know, the last one), IMO, was insuccessful because of its too-much-speaking ideology and buggy behavior. Unlike the QF1 that is a great thing itself, many respect to the developer(s).

Can anybody explane me how I can reinstall BZ2 with FE1.3 correctly? I deleted everything on my PC which had anything to do with BZ2, but there exist some bugs after the reinstall. I patched my new BZ2 with 1.3.6.2 to play "into the fire", but I recognized that "cloak of deception" has extrem huge pipelines in example which I had in my polluted 1.3.6.5. In "into the fire" itseld i couldnt blow the wall like I reported last time.

Did "Into the Fire" worked in 1.3.6.2 correctly and are the pipes in "cloak of Deception" extremly huge? Or did I installed my game wrong? What can I do? I have Windows 7 64bit.

The pipes issue has been a bug for a while, as I recall.

Yes, QF1 is the contrary of QF2. In QF1 you had funny mission but poor models. In QF2 you had great grafics but this missions are bad. The best mission I remember was "The real War" (?). The rest were too long dialogs and nothing happend. An instant-mode didn't exist, too...

I agree that FE is one of the best mods in BZ2. There long missions with their own variaties. Level- and modell-designs are very good, too.
The only weak is Schulz. He exist the most time outside the gameplay (briefings, mails and on Corber's monologue). Just an importent part of the story but no emotional relations to the player.

By the way: I read that in FE exist a hadean version of siren. I tested it on editor but I had never found it in the game. Where can I find him or is this siren a "forgotten enemie"?
