What I'm doing is making sure to report cutscene bugs and make sure the story works. To me, I'm all meat and sandwich about the cutscenes.

Plus, if I can't beat it then I can't proceed to keep on testing now, can I? Not legitimately.

My ultimate goal is to point out all scenarios of bugs that are MOST noticeable first, not get whoopie-cushioned to death because it's too insane.

Balance will most likely come after the big bugs are pointed out. That is when I'll play legitly.

Sick of turrets not holding when they are pathed to deploy, it has cost me many save states!

Ok, I'm convinced. Pathing is very screwed up at the beginning area of mission 5. I point recycler to go somewhere and it decides to drive straight into the middle of the opening combat zone. When I do order it to base site it decides to drive over the mountain (which it successfully does btw...w/e) instead of the narrow path. I was actually winning once but I noticed my recy parked itself in the water and was down to like 1 health and had to restart it. I think turrets not holding is a side effect.

Please watch you language, Cooke.

Thing is, aside from missing textures and the like, i didn't tweak any of the SP missions...

That makes sense :O

That's why I'm dissecting each bug and waiting on it to be fixed before I proceed. If I skip one as trivial I will probably play in spite of it and forget about it only leaving the next person to have to deal with it. Goal is to make it bulletproof as it deserves to be!

Uh... what the... On the map with the Star Portal just before you "pack up" to leave for Tranquility, after I destroy all but an escaping demon drone from the reinforcements I suddenly plop into a Hadean tank with a weird charger weapon spontaneously...

Image

I just get teleported several thousand meters away from the portal into this super-powerful tank whose fully charged shot kills demon drones in one hit.

I had it happen to me once on that mission. i was near the second bend and went behind a relic and i was suddenly in that ship about 300m away. probably a default respawn that it fell through too. Neat ship, though :-)

wait...you like a blank map? :?

:D

i've had that happen to me, too. it'll send me to the desktop and i have to tab back, but it may not have been that mission.

i haven't looked at the original mission scripts except to change the rec in mission 4, so they probably need updating.

Wow, it didn't give me that problem at all. I could try to run through it again though to confirm.

Heh! I still don't get why it did that because in 1.2 it never did it to me. Not once. Ever.

Makes me think that this is a sort of secret rescue agent whose job is to help ensure the player is not bombarded by the Cerberi.

Anyway...

Is there anything you can do about the whole slow cutscene stuff? It's just super super irritating... :(

He mentioned that comes later. It is probably a long difficult thing to track down, especially since it is so prevalent. I feel like grabbing the scripter and helping him out on that one.
