Map with Time of Day and Weather Change

Hi!
Finally got on this forum!
I was wondering if a map with time of day and weather change is possible.
And, if someone already made something like this, please post it here.

Someone can correct me, but to the best of my knowledge, I don't think this is possible even with DLL modifications. Maybe things have advanced enough, but I can't really confirm it though.

The original game allowed weather changes, but time of day can only be set in-game via DLL.

try G66; set time of day and rate of planet rotation in options.

BZ2 has built in day/night cycle. The console command sun.period controls the speed of the days. Default is 24.0, as in 24 real hours. Setting it to 1 or 0.5 would make a shorter day/night cycle.
In Multiplayer, someone joining/leaving or a resync will force the sky to reset, causing the cycle to start over.

I can't install G66
I launch the exe, it makes some folders, but thats it.
Do you need to make a custom shortcut?

Ok found the exe right after I posted that it wasn't working
But...
Everything still looks the same

G66 is a MPI mod.
You have to go to Multiplayer, launch a game then pick a map with g66v2 in the name.
In the extra options, you will see the day night options.

Not to big into mpi but I do see the different settings now.
