I have been recommending that modders make installers. That's a better long-term way of handling this.

It's so easy to create an installer with InnoSetup that there really isn't an excuse for only releasing zips any more.

That being said, a lot do prefer .zips, but that may be partly cause a lot know what they are doing or are aware they dont.

Wow  it's been a while since I've been on this forum. And I know some of you all will groan with dread, as last time I was a BIG pain. But nah. I'm only going to post a single question. I have Battlezone FE 1.3 and Battlezone 1.3.6.2, and was wondering if the 1.3 Fleshtorm mod would be compatible with it. And if it is, forgive me, the link posted takes me to a list of green links. I have no idea which one to get. I just want the mod, no bonuses, nothing.

Fleshstorm 1 I think is only good on PB3, at least in terms of compatibility. I don't think its been updated since whatever was the last patch to come out for it.
If you happen to be looking through my posts, I have completely dumped all things related to Battlezone. Do not contact me, do not bother me. Been harassed enough as it is and am done entirely.

I thought I'd released my patch for it, perhaps not. Will dig around in my files and see what I find.

Meanwhile, you'll want to install Fleshstorm, then the Fleshstorm v1.2 patch, and finally the Fleshstorm DXT fix. From what I remember that setup works exceptionally well, considering.

AHadley you did release it since I have the mod running on my PB6 game. Not sure where it is though.

Perhaps it's the DXT fix I linked to there, I can't remember which parts I released and which I didn't. I know I didn't release the Genesis mission, though, or add the bonus mission Hell is Green to the campaign.

Ahab, I've never played Fleshstorm and was just reading up on it at BZ2MD where I read about a 1.3 patch by Commando. You however link to a 1.2 patch which according to discussion at BZ2MD has been made obsolete by the 1.3 patch.
Are you sure the 1.2 patch is what is needed to get Fleshstorm to run under PB1.3.6.# ?

Aah, I'd forgotten about that.

The mistake most people make is assuming that "1.2" here refers to BZ21.2; it in fact refers to FS1.2. As far as I can remember from experimenting with my own setup, you'll want to install FS1.3 on top of FS1.2.

FS1.3

I was working on a FS1.4, but never managed to release it.
