It didn't cause any for me. And that "______ has entered the world" glitch is a problem for the whole patch not just FE.

Yeah, that's a bug that I've seen several times. Sometimes quitting then rejoining fixes it. No idea what throws the game out of sync so badly.

-APOCALYPSE- have you tried disabling your antivirus to see if its interfering with the connection?

@Commando: We thought it was a hacker but I guess we were wrong.

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.3 Public Beta released
I played some games today with ZA. Noticed that in the game lobby, his ping/players appeared as ??? and the game type, pw, and player lists all appeared blank.
His game had a password on it, dispite the server list showing blank nothingness there. When I clicked Join it waited and then told me Connection Refused.
ZA said that on his end, he saw the blocked joiner with bad password message.
The game never asked me for a password, so I'm thinking the PW state that triggers the multi_password menu is not sent, along with the rest.

Re: Battlezone II v1.3.6.3 Public Beta released
It turns out that the web shield on avast is blocking it. Im seeing if I could at the link to its ignore listZero Angel wrote:-APOCALYPSE- have you tried disabling your antivirus to see if its interfering with the connection?
EDIT: I have managed to get avast! to ignore the bzone.exe process. Now i can play some games. Thanks ZA.
EDIT 2: Ok, Now that avast! is no longer blocking it, i am still unable to host a game due to UPNP redirect failure.

I am also getting a 'UPNP: failure as no external ports' after clicking 'create game' in the "New game | name | password | server message" shell. But others are able to see my game once I host. This is strange because this error was not showing up before. I hardly see any games online with the 6.3 patch and fearing most will assume they will not be able to host.

I don't know if this the problem for those having an issue with UPNP, but it is an issue I ran into once when trying to use the UPNP.dll to forward ports.

Does this build have a form of Natneg? If so, please look at that instead of just upnp. One overrides the other and I forget which way it goes.
Someone check for me so we at least have good direction for everyone. Maybe GSH can give a quick 3 words.
