Here's a zip containing fixes for four BZ2 Singleplayer missions:

BZ2 SP Mission Fixes <-- 1576 KB <== Updated 03-16-2016

Added The Dark Planet fix on 3-16-2015

Unzip to the root of your BZ2 install so that the files wind up in addon\missions (so you don't overwrite any files in the missions folder in the root of your BZ2 install)

please give feedback here or in each mission's threads in this board.

Played snow blind again 3 times.
Drove through cave early, voice over problem seems to be fixed.
Destroyed fvrecy as it came out of cave, found transmitter, back to base, mission complete.
Let fvrecy deploy, it did not build anything, destroyed it and finished mission.

I am wondering if at some point I must have played a mod that uses this map too. because I have clear memories of it being a battle to defend my base. It is not a battle now, its far too easy.

No, I definitely had a battle too. Something broke somewhere along the way.

good to hear.

there's some places where the call to start the AIP is commented out. wanted to take it one step at a time, so i'll uncomment them and see what happens.

found/fixed the problem: mat vehicle was deploying fbrecy1, AIP was looking for fbrecy

you want waugh? you got waugh! :D

No, random AI spawn and attack your base every few minutes. The only "battle" for me was destroying the Matriarch as it exits the cave.

the whole point of the mission was to give a clue about the black dogs. anything else is just gravy.

Lol this game is actually a sequel [/snowblind]

Wondering if fbrecy sends maulers and titans at you, where fbrecy1 was limited, or if it doesn't matter.

Uploaded a tweaked isdf11/Snow Blind fix:

Snow Blind fixes <-- 35 KB

+ Fixed Scion Matriarch not being detected by AIP's

+ enabled other AIP's

+ tweaked 3rd AIP to add more target variety


just unzip/drag to your bz2 root so that you have this structure:

addon\missions

addon\objects\FURY\vehicles
