GSH , thanks u for attention!
I talking about multiplayer game, I know that I can't modify some cfg files , cause multigame talk => "I have a new MOD."
And nobody can connect.

I'm trying to understand whether there is the way to achieve a combination of keys , worked in multiplayer game?

.cfg files aren't normally asset-checked, you can change input.cfg without issue.vlad_C0M wrote:GSH , thanks u for attention!

EDIT: Don't know what I was thinking, thanks GBD.

You can use the BZ2 Pak Explorer as the can opener for BZ2's data.pak and patch13.pak files. Note - do NOT edit your .pak files. Instead, unpack everything elsewhere, find input.cfg, edit it, and copy the changed input.cfg back into your addon folder. You can also look at the BZ2 newkeys projects, which has a number of custom bindings in it.
Basically, the in-game bindings are for simple commands. If you want to do anything complicated, then editing input.cfg is really the way to go. The amount of work to do an ingame editor for complicated macros is far greater than the benefit.

Re: Console bz2 binds
AFAIK no CFG files are asset checked. Shell mods shouldn't effect in game assets. Just like a texture pack, or a sound pack, they're user - customizable.

GSH, General BlackDragon Thanks !!
Will test it )!
PS: for accuracy <<copy the changed input.cfg back into your "addon" folder>> - "addon" or "addon_2013-09-09_1802" ?

Modem is for 56k or ISDN connection.
Broadband is for ADSL

Re: Console bz2 binds
If there's a crash, submit the logfile to me. You can PM me here on the boards or email me (look at the bottom of the 1.3 patch download site) if you want to keep it quiet. Thanks
The modem/broadband switch used to do more, but has done very little since 1.3.6.*'s release.
