"Lag" is a useless description, because it does not accurately explain the problem. This is a public test build -- you're now testing things. Your goal -- as a tester -- should be to explain things well enough to make it clear to me what is happening, and ideally, make it happen on demand for me. Consider this a chance to demonstrate to me and others that you're useful.

Just had a few 5v5 - 6.4m strats with mixed results. I did manage to have one full strat - lag free. :)

On the positive, a few bugs apparently squashed:
I no longer get: 'no sessions were found' error (thank you :)
F7 is now usable in a 5 v 5 strat (before, F7 was not select-able so could not pass to teammate who filled that slot)
hidden player in shell seems fixed (in shell, the 5th player used to be hidden until he switched teams, but now it seems to work)
i did not see any 400% bug w/ in my 60 min of playtime .. too intermittent to tell quite yet though

Bugs I still experience:
Commander of Team 1 cannot drop command unless he switches teams (old bug).

ISDF scout image in shell occasionally appears as white (no texture - new since 6.4k i believe)

off and on lag in games (as server or client) and HARD crashes when its hard to end task (Win 8 64bit). I am suspecting alot is due to attacks from a particular 'griefer', off and on.

6.4m seems to require a restart of bzone.exe after each game to have a stable 2nd strat (memory leak perhaps - 2nd strat hosted without restart of bz results in frequent warp and crashes)

it's almost guaranteed to lag out eventually, if any player is +300 ping (as w/ 1.2, only 1 bad connection would spoil it for the rest).

Player list in game, just above chatbox only lists 7 players max (even with 8 - 10 players in game) -- old bug since v1 I think :)

i still see and hear a few random chains and laser shots (not from a VIR scout either ;) .. usually this happens when someone 1st builds armory, or maybe it's when they deploy the 1st wep (since 6.4k it seems)

The command bug occurs when you have 5 players on a given team. Team 5 is used for swapping the commander role. When a player occupies said team, F7, the ability to give/take command fails. This is known and unlikely something to be fixed.

If a player joins the other team for a second, it should allow the team to change commander.

I noticed the occasional rogue chain gun too. It wasn't consistent like it was in previous builds which is an improvement. Would have to reproduce it, to get it fixed most likely.

Hosted some strats when a player would join start laggin the game, after kicking to try an save the game, the server would just crash. 3v3 - 4v4 games.

SP: looks like (unpiloted?) friendly units are unvulnerable now. If I leave my ship, I cannot destroy it anymore. Was it made intentionally?

Played a few strats last night (3v3's and 2v2's - 6.4n), both stock and VSR 4.4 pre release.

Positive:
Not one occurrence of the 400% bug that I could see.
Relatively lag free -- even with a couple players with 250+ ping (much better - w/ various hosts)
Joiners didn't seem to lag the game, joining or quitting.
session filters seem to work (all - strat - dm - mpi)

Negative:
Maps do not default to the 'default' ships like before (have to select 'default ISDF and scion scouts manually)
AI units (like scouts) often do not hold when told to do so (even if they are not fired upon by enemy units and when they are out of range)
Scavenger collisions continue -- they get stuck into each other and onto buildings, extractors etc.
giving an order to 'pick me up' or others often have to be repeated (even when the AI unit acknowledges the order) - usually caused by a resync
frequent 'bounce' issue. the bounce will happen several times in a row, which makes running away very difficult at times (not an issue in VSR).
SUB-0 hosted a game, while we were waiting in shell, I had left to session list, then could not get back into Sub's game (got Natneg errors), until I restarted BZ2 then I could join. I cannot duplicate this problem, seems to be intermittent .. not very frequent.

6.4n is a good improvement over 6.4m thus far. Thanks for the continued effort to make this game better!! :)
