For those saying the current beta is laggy, due to resyncs, try playing with pilot lifespans set to 5 seconds or possibly lower. It appears pilots returning to the recycler are triggering some, if not a majority, of the resyncs.

atm Battlezone 2 isn't on my to-do list, i do play MPI/DM with RD sometimes but that's it.

I wonder if we can breath some new life into BZ2 by converting some good maps for MPI, is that hard to do ?

No. Just a bit tedious. You have to edit the map to add all the required pathpoints and use the correct dll.

Sorry for not replying earlier.

Yes, BZ2 is being run in Wine.

Fun fact, after checking the Test Logs (plural) it will "restart" the log and repeat itself whenever the game resyncs. This (if you run Wine on most Unix-based platforms) can be replicated in most MPI maps.

I have a linux mint plus wine setup. When I'm not booted into win 7, I use it.

There is a major sync bug that has been fixed. Said fix is being tested, I hope, now.
