BZ's Mag Arena

Post by Psychedelic Rhino »

Here's a remake of BZ's Mag Arena. I've done a night or nightside render.

It was a frustrating exercise, because I've upgraded to Indigo Renderer latest version, they changed the GUI. Just about had to relearn the program.

I have yet to see you produce anything of any worth, Spork.

No one asked you, but ok, pay attention. :)
Useful BZ Utility - Great for launching missions or editing render.cfg with a GUI.
Custom scope files organized for any language version of BZ (without mangling HUD)
Red Odyssey NO CD Patch - Protect that RO disk, and don't need to hassle with setting up Daemon Tools or any other CD emulator.

Sorry for hijacking your thread BFT.

I think spork gets truly tired of the monotonous drone of negativity at spock's server, and comes here for some fresh air occasionally.

So it's made clear nothing has changed over in flock land, they still stumble over their own tedious and boring statements,

and at best justifies his work comparing apples and oranges.

But all in all, it's ok, because it reminds me why I have never made one post at the flock forum, and quit playing the server almost 3 years ago. But once a troll, always a troll, and there's not a whole lot we can do about it.

I like all the pretty colors everywhere. Very pleasing to the eye.

You should render a scene like a short battle.

Oh don't misunderstand. I don't mind spork's evaluation of the render. As I said, I was using the model to learn Indigo's new v3.0 GUI. The lighting IS a bit extravagant.

What grates me about spork is his insatiable urge to continuously troll, as he did in the first days of this forum, as well as his hacking of BZ1.4, which certainly contributed to the accelerated decay of the community. His few trinkets he linked to comes no where near reversing the damage he did to the game.

I'd be more than a little hesitant to classify programs as an art form.

God, it must be boring over there.

It looks like when you took the photo, you set the ISO setting too high on your camera. And thats understandable if you want to prevent blur from camera shake, but it makes the photo look grainy :p

I can't imagine he's too up for going all the way back out there to take the photo again.

What photo? If you mean the render, you need to look at the full resolution version.
