Planned Features

Over 30 singleplayer missions, 14 enhanced multiplayer maps, a new faction, and much more!

An all new faction: The Renegades!
The Renegades are a splinter faction of CCA rebels, who have aligned themselves with the NSDF. Knowing their enemy's greatest weakness, the Renegades specialize in cheap, fast units to quickly attack and destroy their opponents. They use redesigned (retextured and some remodeled) CCA craft and use several new weapons and technologies, including the Locust rocket and Turbo ability. The Renegades are also multiplayer compatible- without limitations or compromises.

Two full-length campaigns!
Start the revolution that changes the course of the Biometal Wars in The Uprising (18 missions) as Victor "Max" Maksimov. Or, cripple the rebel forces before they unleash their plans in A Traitor's Fate (9 missions). These campaigns are story-driven, meaning more focus on plot and diversity and less repetitive missions. Both campaigns also boast custom dialogue and the latest Lua developments. Also included are 5 IA missions that tie-in to the campaigns.

The next generation of Battlezone multiplayer!
Introducing numerous commands, gametypes, and enhancements that will take the front lines further than ever before. These additions will be featured in all 4 DM, 5 ST, and 5 MPI multiplayer maps (14 total maps). All MPI maps come with the powerful AMAI/S, an advanced Lua-based AI that can replace the AIP.

Two new environments, Callisto and Polar Mars!
Callisto is featured in both multiplayer and singleplayer, while Polar Mars is exclusive to the primary campaign. Both terrain sets are fully-featured, high-definition, and custom-made.

Awesome. I look forward to seeing it. I hope you use .wav files for VO's in missions, :D

Heck yes! I don't want this to be a bunch of missions- that's been done many times over. VO's, easter eggs, new everything. To extrapolate, the missions will be substantially different than most other missions. The multiplayer maps may have different objectives than DM and ST.

With that, I am looking for some help. If anyone can provide some, I would appreciate it no matter what it is. Voice acting, Lua proofreading, mapmaking- anything will do!

Yes. In fact, you could possibly get yourself a character if you do!

If you let me know by PM what you have already written I can tell you if there are any conflicts with other story elements and suggest improvements.

The expansion is planned to not only feature single player maps, but new multiplayer maps. And not just any multiplayer maps- new gametypes as well! :) I have finished the script for a Team Territories gametype, with plans to make a FFA Territories later. More info can be seen at Halo Nation's article.

We are trying to create a bunch of custom weapons for the Renegade faction, and we have a few ideas.

Multi-Lock: Basically a rocket that can lock onto either multiple targets or just one.
CF-Stab: CF is for Centrifugal, in which the cannon would be rapid firing. It could possibly be the SP-Stab rapid firing.

We would really like suggestions/comments if you guys have any!! :)

A nice update:

Right now I have nearly scratched (most) scripts from the campaign missions; I have redesigned the entire style of missions to a more realistic, random, and entertaining one. As far as multiplayer goes, I have finished 2 and a half of the upcoming gametypes.

What I am looking for now is heightmaps- this is an important one. I am having trouble creating/finding realistic and big ones, so if you guys would like to contribute I would appreciate it!

Hmmmm

Have u tried L3DT?

http://www.bzcommand.com/forum/index.php?topic=110.0

It can generate some nice realistic terrain, including height/light maps.

Wow! I can't believe I haven't heard of this program earlier, it does the job I've been looking for! Thanks GBD. :)

Still... I don't think a randomized generator like this can create geometrical maps.
