Yes, and the file is much more recent. I guess I should delete the one in the root?

Ok, so I'm using the appdll bink dll. Cutscenes still way too long.

Ok, this problem may be much worse than I expected it to be.

While trying to (unsuccessfully as I have no good screen recording software) record a video of it, the framerate dropped. The cutscene started to lag and jump, skipping a lot of slow panning. It aligned with the dialogue MUCH more accurately, but the video had to stagger quite a bit for it to keep up with the dialogue.

Normally without recording, the video seems to play at half speed and the dialogue finishes much sooner than the video (out of sync). While recording, framerate was limited and the video was jumping along faster, keeping up with the audio and ending at the same time.

Uh oh, looks like a PB issue!

Tested stock BZ2. A cutscene played normally enough with a few strange camera warps here and there, but it wasn't out of sync like the FE.

Edit #...bazillion: Tell you what. I will take a webcam recording of the screen as this issue happens. You will see what I see!

That'll contain all the trivial questions. Audio is never impacted. It's the video that plays too slow. When FPS starts to lag due to a screen recording, it keeps up fine due to resyncing.

do me a favor and add /novista to your shortcut and try it. might have to copy your pilot(s) from MyDocs into the pilots folder in your install, too.

BTW, you can hit the space bar to stop the movies/cut scenes playing.

Ok. Ignore the fact that there is no sound, just assume it starts at the beginning of Windex's speech and then ends somewhere before it starts panning the recycler.

Also, note the pop-in and draw of the terrain (unless that was fixed). Do you have a changelog for each update?

Space bar can be used, I know, but I hate the feeling that I may skip an important part or series of videos if I do that.

Also in the video, I cut it off early with spacebar because my hand was getting tired. That right there is 1:40-1:50 of cutscene.

Watch the camera simply crawl, it is painful to watch.
