What is the last movie you've seen?
For me, it was obviously Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom. It was total crap, but it's more entertaining than HGTV or Ghost Haunting....
How about you? Discuss, name-off, and maybe even review the last movie you've seen. Have at it.

Arachnoquake
Not as bad as the usual Syfy channel TV movie. Stopped half way so I would stop getting distracted and dying in Tribes though.

Lockout & Wrath of the Titans are the recent movies I've seen last.
Both arent terribly great movies and they may even make you think you've already seen such a thing (iow: not that original), but they are decent enough to go see in the theatre.

Re: What is the last movie you've seen?
A movie I recently watched and recommend is the Indonesian film 'The Raid: Redemption'.
Here are three guys reviewing the film and gushing like middle school girls meeting Justin Bieber.
It is touted as a 'new style' martial arts film. Don't be fooled by the first 25 minutes of the film as they introduce the story. It will first appear as just another action flick.
I am not one that watches martial arts silliness, so I was very hesitant. But it was highly recommended by a friend, and I must say, it is worth the watch for the extremely well done fighting choreography. Yes, there is still the awkwardness of a group fight and the "hesitation" of someone waiting for their encounter to participate, but it is rare. It is also a foreign language film with subs, but I highly recommend paying attention to the story, as it's not bad.

ice age 3: dawn of the dinosaurs - good family movie
the girl with the dragon tattoo (original swedish version, with subtitles) - excellent suspense with some scenes that make you cringe
been getting into old movies on TCM and AMC; good for movies that actually tell a story and the artful use of silence.

If given the truth, the people can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts - and beer.

I can't say it's name or what it's about. But it was quite artsy and sad at the end.
I have no idea how this thing is legal in the US... But, oh well. It is.

Which one? There's actually two. One is the story of love addiction with a crazy-ass boyfriend. The other is a South American horror film based on a true story of a man who kidnaps women and tortures them in the woods.AHadley wrote:Also, watched Broken last night. Not quite sure what to think.

Brave, The Amazing Spiderman, Snow White and the Huntsman, Prometheus, and The Avengers are the last few we've seen. Definately "The Avengers" is the best movie ever. Prometheus kind of hints a little at how our planet could have been biologically terraformed and we loved the movie. Basically they were all good.

The Poughkeepsie Tapes. Very interesting Mock-documentary. Some of the victims were a tad stupid and blind, though. The killer was interesting.
I give it a nice 8.5/10.

Re: What is the last movie you've seen?
A Serbian Film. This film is a juvenile comedy, and nothing else.
I'd give it a 4/10.
The sex in this film doesn't pander to my interests. Nor is the story very appetizing. Characters came off as annoying or downright unexplained. I often didn't recognize some characters due to the editing and such. Which made it hard to tell what was going on.

The Secret Life of Jeffrey Dahmer.
I'd give it a 6.15/10.
The acting was enjoyable. Though, sometimes it got a bit monotonous...
